My name is Justin Riner and I am from Houston, Texas. I have been playing guitar for over 20 years and writing music for over 15 years. I currently work as an Industrial Engineer, but writing music will always be my strongest passion. I have recorded instrumental demos in ProTools since I was in college, with well over 250 videos of me playing both originals and my favorite covers. I never focused much on the production side of my music, because I figured one day I would start professionally recording with a producer and audio engineer. I was content with writing music for the love of it, however modern AI production technology would allow me to take my original compositions to the next level.

My favorite guitarists are the melodic metal kings: Andy James, John Petrucci, Marco Sfgoli, and more recently Alessandro Zilio. I have been obsessed with modern metal music that still carries a strong melody and everything I have learned to play (and composed) over the past 15 years has been focused on that concept. Both my instrumental and LNtL compositions are the result of thousands of hours spent writing music. John Harris (LNtL cofounder) has a gift for writing amazing esoteric lyrics that elevate our music in the most synergetic way.

AI has been such a contentious subject lately, but every piece of music I release (non-electronic) will come with a video/tabs of me playing it. I am excited for this new era of music, where guitarists and AI technology can lead us to genres that haven't been imagined yet. Thank you for taking the time to listen!
